Items description lifecycle management
We have made a few improvements regarding the descriptions of your Items:
- When retrieving descriptions via API, it now distinguishes whether the description originated from Zeenea Studio or the source.
- Improve description lifecycle management by explicitly choosing between user-defined or synced from the source.
User suggestions on the content of your catalog Items
It is now possible to give suggestions regarding the content of your Items! 🚀
🆕 What’s new?
- Explorers can suggest modifications or corrections to be made to Items.
- Both Explorers and Stewards will receive email notifications regarding the submission and processing of suggestions.
- Data Stewards can approve or decline suggestions via the Suggestions tab of an Item in Zeenea Studio.
- The Suggestions tab will include the date a suggestion was submitted, the associated Contact, and its status.
- A new Watchlist on the Steward Dashboard is available to quickly view all the Items with pending suggestions.

By enabling suggestions at the enterprise level, organizations can maintain and manage the documentation of their data and preserve its quality over time. By leveraging collective expertise and encouraging collaboration within the community, companies can make this tool a living, evolving resource.
Improved API Key Management
To enhance security and enforce proper permissions, Zeenea improved its API key management! Admin users can now specify read or write scopes and set expiration dates for API keys.
